Kazakhstan increases exports of yellow phosphorus to EU countries

Hadang, Astana, August 16th, Kazakhstans Chairman of the Industrial Development and Industrial Security Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development, Batanov, said at the press briefing that the chemical production increased by 11% from January to July 2018. Mainly due to the increase in production of major domestic chemical companies. Among them, the Kazakhstan Phosphate Plant in Jiangbul State (Казфосфат) and the Kazakhstan Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant (КазАзот) in Manggis State account for 36% of the entire fertilizer production industry. During the statistical period, Kazakhstan enterprises produced a total of 52,000 tons of yellow phosphorus, an increase of 57% over the same period of last year, mainly due to the expansion of exports to the EU and other countries.
